The American Higher Education Information Center
has a living contact with such organizations and
programs which aim at helping qualified candidates to continue their studies in the United States and in other countries.
Information is available in the Center about the following programs:
United States:
- Fulbright
scholarships for graduate students, researchers, lecturers
(usually announced in May; the application deadline is August 1)
Soros Foundation study abroad programs and
grants:
- Soros scholarships (announced in late September; the deadline is generally mid-November);
- Supplementary Grant (the deadline is May 31);
- Conference Participation Grant;
- Short-Term Study Grant;
- Special Studies Supplementary Grant;
- Higher Education Exchange Program;
- Central European University programs and scholarships.

Besides that the Center tries to give a helping hand to candidates of the regularly announced programs sometimes we can provide information on other - institutional- scholarships which come to us through the Soros Foundation or directly from colleges, universities.
