The OSEAS-Europe Conference is organized every three years and offers professional development and networking opportunities for advisers from across the region. The last conference was held in Budapest, Hungary in 1998 and attracted over 169 educational advisers, colleagues from U.S. and foreign universities and educational organizations.

All educational advisers from Europe, the NIS and Israel are encouraged to attend and participate in this valuable and stimulating event. Information on travel grants subsidized by the U.S. Department of State to assist educational advisers from U.S. State Department-affiliated centers to attend the conference will be available in October 2000.

International educators in the United States, educational advisers from other regions, educational advisers and staff from international schools, and local universities, staff from Fulbright Commissions, U.S. and other Embassies and Consulates and other related organizations are warmly invited to join the European and NIS advisers at what promises to be an extremely productive and rewarding Conference.

Advisers and others are encouraged to visit the OSEAS-Europe website for information about Cyprus and this conference. The website will be updated regularly as additional information becomes available. The OSEAS-Europe website is:

* Improving advisers' ability to work effectively and ethically in the increasingly competitive and complex field of international education

CONFERENCE SESSIONS AND WORKSHOPS
